75F® HyperStat Earns Gold in 2022 Dealer Design Awards

75F is proud to announce the 75F® HyperStat earned Gold in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) category of this year's Dealer Design Awards, a contest through The Air Conditioning, Heating & Refrigeration (ACHR) News magazine that celebrates innovative products designed to make life easier for mechanical contractors and installers.

The ACHR News is the leading trade magazine in the HVACR industries, drawing in more than 130 entries for various products in the 2022 awards edition. Award categories range from commercial equipment and accessories to IAQ and contractor services. The judges included an independent panel of contractors.

"These awards give us a unique opportunity to recognize the outstanding research and development efforts that go into many of the products serving the HVACR industry," said ACHR News publisher, Sarah Harding.

Judges praised the HyperStat — a wireless mesh-connected thermostat, humidistat, and IAQ sensing station — for its ability to deliver IAQ management in an affordable and sophisticated way as demand for optimal air quality continues to climb.

The device comes with on-board sensors for temperature, humidity, light, sound, occupancy, CO2, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and optional particulate matter, plus pre-programmed sequences of operation with industry-best efficiency standards built in. Together, these features mold the HyperStat into an IAQM and energy efficiency powerhouse.

"The 75F® HyperStat replaces multiple room sensors with a single intuitive, cost-competitive solution that is fast and easy to install."

The HyperStat comes packed with two analog inputs, three analog outputs, and six relays that leverage software-defined control capabilities for all types of equipment. The device requires very little commissioning and creates its own network. It automatically plugs into a wireless 900 MHz mesh network with other 75F devices and the 75F gateway to make data instantly accessible to the BMS, online data portal, and apps.

Because 75F is a cloud-based solution, any future firmware updates can take place over the air. This stands out to Brian Munyan, service sales representative at Daikin Applied, who had a conversation with The ACHR News about the HyperStat after its win.

"For the standard control system, after so long, somebody has to come out and download new stuff to update it," Munyan said. "There's usually a cost to that, and then at some point, it just gets outdated. Any updates that 75F has are automatically sent to the customer."
